Clara Premium has been two years in development and testing. Without a doubt, this is the best rope we have ever had. It is destined to set a new standard being superior to any Japanese rope we have used so far.

The weight is 17g per meter. The diameter is between 5% and 10% over the nominal size to allow stretching and therefore not to be under specification.

Each of the three strands has 7 sub-plies/strands, each of 5 yarns twisted together. The reason for this construction is to create a super flexible, smooth, loose-laid rope that is also durable and forgiving of rough handling. With this rope, you'll get the best of both worlds, long life and optimum feel and handling.

It's sweet-smelling due to eco-friendly production methods and wet treating is entirely pointless as it is perfect right off the reel.

    Beautiful jute

This is my second order from Esinem and the rope is some of the best I've tied with. Nicely weighted, soft, flexible yet strong construction and great to handle. It's breaking in nicely. ? I've tried the untreated and dry-treated rope. The Treated is decent straight off the reel and after a little beeswax/jojoba, the Untreated is flying. Thanks Esinem, stay kinky.

We were getting worried they wouldn't come in time but they arrived today! All down to the UK port situation. These ropes are lovely. Best quality we've seen. I'm so looking forward to actually unwrapping them on Sunday and thanking my bunny with some festive rigging. Thank you x

10 out of 10 stars! Clara Premium

This is definitely the best rope I’ve used. Holding it in your hands, the superior quality is undeniable. It’s incredible how loose it is while maintaining an amazing snap thus making it not only fast and agile but also strong and easy to work with. The rich blond color is also very pleasing. One of the biggest noticeable differences is the smell, or should I say complete absence of. The fact that it’s made with no JBO is a huge part of why this rope feels so clean and pure. You can literally feel the difference in energy between this and other more conventional ropes, and now I don’t know if I could go back to using anything else. This is the way I always imagined rope should be. It brings great inspiration to have it here. I couldn’t be happier and I’ve already placed a second order. A huge thank you and a tip of the hat to the entire ESINEM team! Keep up the great work!

FAST delivery of a quality product...as always! I have been using Clara Premium for several years and is amazing, also use New Asa which is equally fantastic and a very balanced high quality rope. Thanks Bruce!

Lovely soft yet strong rope. I'm excited to use it more. I love the perfect sounds it makes as someone pushes against it's bounds.

    I LOVE THIS!

The first thing I thought when I picked this up was "is it made of thin air?". It's *that* light. It bought untreated as I like to treat my own rope and it was very fluffy and hairy. A quick oil and burn (I used NeWax, which is amazing for both rope and rope-mauled fingers) and voilà - I had a beautiful, ultralight and incredibly low friction rope in minutes. As it is already quite thin (as advertised, it settled at around 5.5mm) and was already super soft, I did not run it through a carabiner, but gave it another round of oil and very careful burn after a couple of uses once the NeWax had worked its way deeper into the fabric and a few more hairs appeared. The result? I have a beautiful golden-brown rope that gives me compact knots (the difference in size between an X or U friction done with this vs an overspecced 6mm is HUGE) and glides through my fingers while pulling through with incredibly low friction compared to a more tightly-laid rope. I know it's advertised as being as resilient as a double-yarn rope, but unlike my Tossa and EcoNawa I haven't mustered the courage to abuse it yet because it's soo nice. Also because I only have 2 which I got as a trial, but once my new set arrives I'll feel less bad testing how much punishment they can take.
