The Moka Edition is a limited series. Only the color of the rope changes, the yarn is the same as usual. The color of the rope is darker than previous batches. Let yourself be seduced by a trendy color.
Due to the success of the new construction of our Clara Premium jute rope, this method is being extended to other products. The advantage is that it ensures more even tension between the yarns. This means that it stays in balance, thus requiring less maintenance and giving longer life. It also eliminates the faults that can occur when making single yarn ropes.
Each of the three strands has 5 sub-plies, each of 4 yarns. It is a little over 6mm diameter off the reel. So, it will settle down to a perfect 6mm after some use and stretching. It is so soft that it only needs dry treating.

Roughter than the old Newasa
It definitely has a different feel to the Newasa I bought several years ago. It much rougher on the skin despite, running though a carabina burning off the hairs, and waxing the rope. I prefere the older Newasa which has a much smoother feel. But still good to tie with.
