Tossa is a superior quality rope for all skill levels and types of which is a long-standing best seller.
It is a medium laid (medium twist) double yarn jute rope which means it is mid-weight and very forgiving of rough handling. The unusually high yarn count (5.5mm, 8 double yarns per ply and 6.5mm, 12 double yarns per ply) makes it almost as smooth as a single yarn rope but with all the durability of a double yarn.
It requires a wet treatment and needs some breaking in but it lasts and lasts, just getting better with age.
During wet treatment the rope relaxes and the diameter increases. With the use the rope return its initial measurements.

Way too stiff
For my taste way to stiff and impossible to work with ESINEM team says: Tossa is rigid, we recommend a wet treatment. Without wet treatment it softens over time, you have to be patient.

Outstanding Quality. Unfortunately, i had to pay custom fees on top of my order (€32) Esinem: Unfortunately, that's down to our greedy goverments' post-BREXIT 'free trade deal'. The good news is that as I'm below the UK VAT theshold, you don't get taxed at my end.

shipping presentation could have been better, half assed wrapped. ropes themselves look, sound and smell and feel nice. will buy more.

Quality by the meter
Tossa is good quality inspected rope for your daily use. Difference is like night and day from no-brands. Doesn't really need to be treated, but a dry-treatment makes for some good character.
